et emplacements utilisés pour des opérations de transports et d'organisation de Hezbollah.

During the night IDF continued to hold posts in southern Lebanon and to attack terror targets and infrastructures across Lebanon. In two different instances, in the village of Mis El Jabel in the eastern sector and in the village of Haris in the central sector IDF forces identified two armed terrorists, fired at them and identified hitting them.

Reserve force prevents fatal terror attack

An IDF reserve force operating in the area of southern Lebanon, north of Metula, located a truck filled with explosives, apparently on its way to execute a terror attack close to the Israeli border. The truck was attacked and destroyed by the forces in Lebanese territory.

Air Force continues to attack

The Israel Air Force continued to attack terror targets last night (Sunday, 13/08/06) in Lebanese territory. In the evening IAF combat planes and helicopters carried out 178 attacks. Among the targets attacked were 11 rocket launchers, 122 Hezbollah organization structures, Hezbollah headquarters, houses belonging to Hezbollah terrorists in the areas of Nebatya and Marjayon, a bridge on the A-Zaharni River, an aluminum factory in the area of Nebatya, eight gas stations, four tunnels used by the Hezbollah organization, and sites used for transportation and Hezbollah organization operations.

The IDF will continue to operate with determination in order to protect the citizens of Israel from terror directed at them from Lebanese territory and in order to create conditions leading to the return of the kidnapped soldiers, Eldad Regev and Ehud Goldwasser.
